Dr Challoners Grammar

A top 50 state school in Britain has been provided with CLIQ™ Remote by High Security Locking Ltd and ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, a UK division of ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in door opening solutions.

Dr Challoner’s Grammar School is a selective grammar school for boys located in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, which was given academy status in January 2011. The school is home to 1,300 students aged 11-18 and has recently been extended to include a sixth form café and an additional library.

High Security Locking worked closely with the school’s resources director to find a key management solution that would protect the school assets and property, but also provide access to members of staff where required, during and out of normal school hours.

ASSA’s CLIQ™ Remote system was installed on all external and sensitive area doors at the school, providing a simple and intelligent electromechanical locking system to improve security, despite restrictive budgets.

The CLIQ™ Remote system allows a level of freedom of movement, while restricting access to only those people with the necessary authority in sensitive areas.

ASSA’s CLIQ™ Remote has the functionality to create time defined user keys, allowing access for a specified period of time. This is a useful feature for teachers who may need access outside normal working hours for teaching preparation, or for sporting events at weekends.
